Chiropractic is a health care discipline based on the scientific premise that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism.
Chiropractic Philosophy:
as walking) and involuntary functions (such as breathing). When the
systems of the body are in balance, it is called homeostasis. Disorders of
the bones, muscles, and nerves can disrupt homeostasis and increase the
risk of disease and other health problems.
ability to maintain health and heal itself.
Chiropractors believe one of the main causes of pain and disease is the misalignment of the vertebrae in the spinal column (subluxation). Through the use of manual detection (or palpation), carefully applied pressure, massage, and manual manipulation of the vertebrae and joints (adjustments), chiropractors are able to relieve pressure and irritation on the nerves, restore joint mobility, and help return the body's homeostasis.
Chiropractic has become one of the fastest growing health professions to be utilized by the general public and professional athletes.
ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE
The Gold Standard in Soft Tissue Treatment
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fascitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
How do overuse conditions occur?
Over-used muscles (and other soft tissues) change in three important ways:
Each of these factors can cause your body to produce tough, dense scar tissue in the affected area. This scar tissue binds up and ties down tissues that need to move freely. As scar tissue builds up, muscles become shorter and weaker, tension on tendons causes tendonitis, and nerves can become trapped. This can cause reduced range of motion, loss of strength, and pain. If a nerve is trapped you may also feel tingling, numbness, and weakness.
What is an ART treatment like?
Every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. The ART provider uses his or her hands to evalute the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.
These treatment protocols - over 500 specific moves - are unique to ART. They allow providers to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient.
CRANIAL RELEASE TECHNIQUE
The Cranial Release Technique® (CRT) is a natural, hands-on approach to releasing the body's inborn capacity to heal and regenerate itself. CRT can be applied in minutes, yet it has profound effects on overall health and well-being.
The Cranial Release Technique® works to restore proper function to the nervous system and proper balance to body structure. Thus, it has positive effects on conditions ranging from aches and pains to overall health and wellness.
CRT makes a wonderful additon to anyone's health care regimen.
What About Wellness Care?
Perhaps one of the greatest aspects of the Cranial Release program is its ability to restore and enhance wellness. We live in stressful times, and many people report feeling much more "relaxed and at ease" following a CRT session. A sense of "balance and more peace" is noticed as they go through the day.
“At any given point in time, your body is either in a mode of protection and survival or a mode of healing and regeneration. CRT can help to facilitate a return to healing, repair and regeneration making it an ideal part of your overall wellness program.
Changing the way soft tissue injuries are treated
Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
SIMPLE TECHNOLOGY
IMPROVING INJURY TREATMENT
& REHABILITATION
SpiderTech™ Therapy is an innovative functional therapeutic approach to modulate pain and myofascial dysfunction through the use of specialized pre-cut, pre-packaged and ready to apply kinesiology taping applications.
The use of this tape in its original format has been around for approximately 30 years with impressive clinical results treating muscle injuries, joint strains, and neurological disorders along with both conservative and post-surgical rehabilitation. SpiderTech™ is the evolution of this clinically proven therapy with the development of pre-engineered therapeutic applications which require no cutting. Pain is the main condition that SpiderTech™ is used to manage. Pain is the common component to all neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions that result in movement dysfunction and disease.
How does wearing SpiderTech™ Applications affect the pain pathways?
All SpiderTech™ Applications and Tape are intended to be worn for up to five (5) days. The sustained stimulus of the tape on the skin results in the activation of dermal and subdermal sense organs, mainly Merkel discs (A-Beta), resulting in a decrease in the patient’s perception of pain (A-delta and C-fibres) due to sensory gating mechanisms.
The decrease in pain signaling into the Central Nervous System restores normal muscular activation, the end result being improved functional muscle and joint stability.
SpiderTech™ is available in the following different shape variants that are designed for the different areas of the body:
• The Neck Spider • The Shoulder Spider • The Elbow Spider • The Wrist Spider • The Posture Spider • The Low Back Spider • The Hip Spider • The Upper Knee Spider • The Full Knee Spider • The Ankle Spider • The Calf and Arch Spider • The Hamstring Spider • The Groin Spider • The Lymphatic Spider in 3 different sizes, Small, Medium and Large
T he Horizon for Pain Management
The specific wavelengths of light within Horizon are medically proven to provide a drug-free, pain-free treatment for pain and inflammation.
Evidence indicates that cells absorb infrared and red light photos and transform their energy into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the form of energy that cells utilize. The resulting ATP is then used to power metabolic processes; synthesize DNA, RNA, proteins, enzymes, and other products needed to repair or regenerate cell components.
The Horizon for Photo-Rejuvenation
A major cause of skin aging is a chronic micro-inflammation triggered by UV radiation and external pollutants.
It has been demonstrated that red light reduces inflammation and infrared light enhances circulation. The specific wavelengths of light within Horizon are medically proven to provide a drug-free, pain-free treatment for photodamaged skin and wrinkles.
Red and Infrared Light stimulate collagen synthesis and increase the amount of elastic fibers.
Customers will notice a reduction of pore sizes, enhanced skin radiance and a reduction in wrinkles.

Ran A Triathlon Without Knee Pain
Dr. Louis is the best. I was recommended to him through a friend at Eagleman Half-Ironman Triathlon. When I first came to him I was experiencing a lot of pain during the run portion of my triathlons. After one session not only am I running faster I am doing so without putting my knees at risk. I just finished the NYC Triathlon and visited Dr. Louis two days before the race and I finished that race so strong and so confident and I know its because of the treatment I received from Dr. Louis. I tell everyone I know about Dr. Louis, he is the best.
